Shoppers were leaving before the product pages finished loading, especially on mobile data.
What I built
- Cut database queries per page from 410 to 38
- WebP images and lazy loading
- Full-page caching with smart purging
- Cloudflare in front of everything
The result
The headline: 0.9s page load, down from 6 seconds. The Gadget Ghor team owns the code, the docs and the servers, with a hand-over guide for the next developer.
